Rann of Kutch

One of the popular events that is organized in Gujarat and is a major crowd puller from across the country and the world is the Rann Utsav. This is regarded as a celebration of life, culture, and the festivities of Kutch. The entire event is spread across 4 months which sees a riot of colours spread over the barren lands. The entire event offers an experience of diverse traditions as well as the taste of generous hospitality of the people from Kutch. The beautiful White Desert welcomes one and all and the sight of a full moon night during the entire period can be breathtaking.

The 4 months sees endless cycle of dances backed by century-old traditions that have been there for centuries. The colourful fair spread across the beach area or the lake swings which are placed on the lake banks add to the marvellous experience for flamboyancy. It embarks an ideal occasion for being part of the region’s culture and experiences its uniqueness which is second to none in terms of celebration of life.

The entire Rann Utsav also offers host of other activities to indulge in which expands across Camel Rides, Bird Watching, Pool Table, Paramotoring, Giant Chess, Archery, etc. The entire event will definitely be worth an experience of a lifetime.

03:30PM to 05:30PM Visit the Archaeological Museum and Dholavira Excavation Site. Dholavira is one of the best- preserved cities of the Indus Valley Civilization, dating from the 3 to the mid-2 millennium BCE. Discover its remarkable urban planning, sophisticated water management systems, and rich archaeological heritage. (Please note. The museum remains closed every Friday.)

BOOKING POLICY :

100% advance payment and booking form is mandatory to confirm the booking.
The Tent Accommodation Voucher will be issued only after receiving 100% payment.
Voucher issuance will take 24 to 48 working hrs after receiving the payment.
Tent bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
No booking will be considered confirmed without full payment.
Once the voucher is issued, cancellation and amendment charges will be applicable as per the Rann Utsav policy.

Cancellation And Refund Policy :

90% Refund if cancelled more than or equal to 30 days prior to the schedule arrival date.
60% Refund if cancelled more than or equal to 15 days prior to the scheduled arrival date but less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
No Refund, if cancelled less than 15 days prior to scheduled arrival.
In case of any change in check-in date, 10% of the total booking amount will be charged.
In case of Primary Guest Name change, 5% of total booking amount will be charged.
In case of existing room Category is downgraded, 5% of total booking amount will be charged.
Rates are exclusive of applicable taxes.
GST shall be charged as applicable.
In case of triple occupancy, any person above 6 yrs. of age will be charged as an extra person (with mattress).

Additional Holiday Point Cancellation Policy applied :

Once the voucher is issued Rs.100+ Tax will be charged per room per night as our processing fee

Terms And Conditions :

All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes and shall be charged as per prevailing rates.
In case of any cancellation of flight/train or any mode of transportation, the booking amount is not refundable.
Pick-up and drop-off facilities are available only from Bhuj Airport or Bhuj Railway Station by AC Coach as per scheduled timings.
The Voucher issued in respect of the package for Rann Utsav is to be furnished compulsorily along with Government approved valid Photo ID proof such as the Aadhar Card of each guest at the reception counter at the time of check-in; for foreign Nationals, it is mandatory to furnish valid Passport and Visa. PAN card will not be accepted as a valid photo ID.
In case of delayed arrival of a Train or Flight, the guest will be transferred to Tent City, Dhordo in the next available transfer.
In case of late arrival at Tent City, guests will not be entitled to missed meals or other activities.
In case of early arrival at Tent City, guests may be required to wait at the waiting lounge till the availability of the tent
Certain Adventure Sports Activities like Paramotoring, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV), etc. are provided by various specialised operators appointed by us inside The Tent City. Guests should understand and acknowledge the physical and mental risks involved with the activities. These adventure sports are inherently dangerous and represent an extreme test of a person’s physical and mental conditions. Activities involve risks that may include, without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, sickness and diseases, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life, loss of or damage to equipment/property, and accidents. The Adventure Sports Operators may ask the guests to sign an indemnity in favour of the operator for doing such activities. Management assumes no responsibility whatsoever for the activities and services provided by the operators. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions (including negligence) of those operators. We in no way could be made responsible for any injuries or accidents to anybody doing these activities. The Guest is required to understand the associated risks and competencies of the operators before undertaking these activities.
Services provided by different operators at Tent City such as Travel Agents, Rejuvenation Centre, Travel Desk, Adventure Sports, and HAAT Area. Shopping is the sole discretion of the Guest; However, The Tent City assumes no responsibility for the Services and Activities of the above-mentioned operators.
Guests should arrive at the boarding point as per timings at least 15 min before the scheduled departure. If they failed to board the bus as per their Scheduled departure for sightseeing timing, they have to arrange the transportation on their own. The timings of transfer to and fro from White Rann and Kala Dungar may vary according to the sunset timing and climatic conditions. The bus will depart at the prescribed timings.
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to Tent City property caused by themselves, their friends, or any person for whom they are responsible.
Please note that the cooling of A.C. in the vehicles will be maintained as per the temperature comfortable to the majority of guests present in the vehicles.
In case of any date change, 15% of the total booking amount will be charged.

Date change will only be allowed once and prior to 72 hours of the check-in. The Booking will be treated as a cancellation if date changes are requested less than 72 hours of check-in and the cancellation policy will be applied.
Any incidental, personal, and other expenses and costs of items that are not specified/mentioned in the inclusions are to be borne by the guest.
Management is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings of the guest. Guests are requested to take care of their belongings. Guests carrying valuables such as fragile items, money, jewellery, silverware, cameras, electronics/laptops, chargers or photographic equipment, antiques, artefacts, works of art, precious metals, and other similar valuables are at their own risk.
The vehicles used for transfers shall not be at the sole disposal of guests.
This is an indicative itinerary and subject to change depending upon circumstances at the sole discretion of management.
In case of late/early transfers for check-out, guests will have to be informed while checking in at the reception counter for the arrangement of the vehicle, and it will be on a chargeable basis.
The timings of transfer to and from White Rann and/or Kala Dungar may vary according to the sunset timing and climatic conditions.
White Rann is a unique natural formation. It’s subjected to the whims of nature. Management does not assume responsibility with respect to the formation of Rann or any other unexpected changes.
All tents are strictly non-smoking areas as per Government rules.
Guests have to follow the house rules and applicable laws of the land.
Management reserves the right to cancel the reservation without any prior notice in case of any Central/State Government Event/Meetings/Visits or any unwanted natural calamities. In such a case, alternative dates can be set or a full refund will be given for your Accommodation Booking and Management is not liable for any transportation/ travel expenses.
The Tent City management takes utmost precaution to prevent incidents such as fire, short circuits, or any other mis-happenings that are beyond the control. However, The Tent City management’s liability for loss of Baggage due to fire, short circuit, or any other mishap whatsoever is subject to a maximum amount of INR 50,000/- per tent. All guests can opt for adequate insurance coverage through their Insurance Company prior to travel to Rann Utsav-The Tent City.
Baggage is designed to protect its content. Utmost care is being taken by the management while handling baggage during travel at our luggage desk at Bhuj Lounge or Tent City, in case of wear and tear such as minor cuts, broken wheel scratches and dents, the management shall have no liability for such type of damage.
No Pets are allowed inside the Tent City.
In case of unavoidable circumstances, if we need to close the property by government guidelines/rules, we would refund 100% for your Accommodation Booking and we are not liable for any transportation/ travel expenses.
If any guest is having any COVID symptoms during his/her stay at the tent city, we will transfer them to our in-house Isolation Center and our medical team will inspect the guests. If the guests are instructed for further isolation/hospitalisation we will guide the guest to the nearest hospital.
If any guest is having any COVID symptoms at Bhuj Lounge, we will amend the date of arrival as per availability on a complimentary basis. If there is a rate change then the difference amount has to be paid by the guest. Our expert team will guide the guest to the nearest hospital if requested by the guest.
Any dispute arising in above mentioned terms and conditions is subject to Ahmedabad Jurisdiction only.
